Out of all the Carribean food I've tried around downtown, this place has always been the best in my opinion. The chicken and rice are super flavorful and chock full of spices. Portions are generous as well...one takeaway lasted me 2 meals easily. The only downside is the veggies which were not memorable, but the jerk chicken and rice were so delicious I'm willing to overlook the bland veggies! I came later in the day, and it seems like they're pretty popular because they were already out of the Mac and collards. Don't miss this spot for your Carribean fix!

Not bad...I've definitely had better Carribean food. Also concerning was that I ordered a jerk chicken dinner. After about 10 minutes, someone comes out from the back with a single serving of jerk chicken in a used margarine container
He then dumps the liquified contents into a styrofoam container holding my side of rice and veggies. This being said, the flavor was not bad, but this was perhaps stewed chicken covered in jerk sauce. I'm not sure if I'd be up to giving this place another chance. -

The best Caribbean food in Allentown. Wow. Me and my boyfriend were craving for Caribbean food last month and I found this place on Yelp. We came here for lunch on a Sunday after church, and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Everything smells and looks soo good so I couldn't decide what to get for awhile. The owner was so sweet and helpful, he let me try some of the food. Once I tried the Oxtail I was sold on that, and my boyfriend got the curry goat. The owner told us his credit card machine was down so only take cash. We did not have enough cash, so he told us to sit down, finish the food, and we can worry about paying later. We both got small, and they definitely filled us up! We left with such happy stomachs. I would definitely come back again.
